The design language of Full card-case is "hollow out", which explored the relationship between inside function and appearance of the product. A slender hollow has been milled on the body to show the metal Refill inside. The shape formed the proper area for holding the pen, which find the balance between beauty and human engineering. Furthermore, Full weighs 19 grams, which provides good sense of holding to enhance its user experience.
Full Ballpoint Pen by SONG LIU and LEI WANG was highlighted as an outstanding illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Full Ballpoint Pen was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Art and Stationery Supplies Design in 2021. The A' Art and Stationery Supplies Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize which recognizes superior design of brushes, paints, sketchbooks, pencils, pastels, easels, canvases, markers and more.
